Our Supersize Soma Scroll was created for the Children’s Sensorium exhibition at the Castlemaine Art Museum July 2024. For sometime we had wanted to upscale our Soma Kit and create a means to transport all the tools. So began a wonderful process of supersizing our objects and turning the case into a beautiful haptic kinaesthetic tool in it’s own right.

You can roll the scroll, tuck things in, climb inside, and create a composition with all our objects. The Scroll’s tactility, malleability, scale, rhythm and patterns, for us, reference the somatosensory system - a profoundly important physiological aspect of relational life.

The Scroll is used in community workshops and education spaces to invite lush tactile experiences, dynamic movement play, pattern & sculpture making, physiological inquiry and to visually depict ecosomatic concepts and fundamental .
